On Friday, August 23, Raquel Harris and her organization, Ring of Hope, were honored with a prestigious award from Silent Voices United. This recognition celebrates individuals and organizations demonstrating courage and passion in creating meaningful change in their communities. The award was presented during the "Battle for Hope," an anti-gun violence boxing show hosted by Harlem House of Champions and Silent Voices United, sanctioned by USA Boxing.

Held during Harlem Week at the historic Harlem State Office Building, the outdoor event was active. Public figures, community members, and boxing fans came together for this historic celebration of resilience and hope. "Battle for Hope" blended the appeal of boxing with a vital message of anti-violence, demonstrating the unifying power of sports in addressing societal challenges.
